The Sports Parable_3

Finally, the final day. Today being the last day, the willingness to engage in organizing things had varied away in my classmates. So owing to my determination, I found myself working alone with the teachers. My friends were either too obsessed with something else or just too tired. Although this was disheartening, I did not let myself down. I tried to understand what they were going through and decided to carry on myself.

Today’s events were extremely delightful. Especially the Jalebi race! Jalebi is a famous Indian sweet dish made with fermented flour mixture, fried into thin coils and dipped in sugar syrup. Thus given its creditability the conventional bun race was turned into jalebi race. The rules were the same, eat the Jalebi without touching your hands. It was really fun watching the little minds struggling to disobey their conventional eating manners which inculcated upon them as ‘good habits’. Many of them couldn’t resist using their hands and did not mind if they were disqualified. Jalebi’s were more important of course! I and all the other spectators couldn't help laughing looking at them! The other events like ‘the five senses’, were also equally interesting. I enjoyed a lot.

After that, I also went on to participate in the sports events myself. It was tiring undoubtedly, but also incredibly exciting. The past three days have given me a great learning experience. Not only have they increased my awareness about the world they have also enhanced my abilities. I feel more practically learned today, and it’s a wonderful feeling.

I also participated in some events myself.

  1. Dear Himanshu,
You have described the event very well, but I would like to suggest you to relate your experience with learning outcomes, it is necessary.
