The Greeting Service_2

The materials were at our disposal and the mere sight of them was bewildering. Bundles of various vividly coloured papers; boxes of decorating material; pens: scissors; glues and what not! Where to start from? Fortunately Mrs. Deepshri, our Activity Supervisor, was well-versed with this situation. She asked us to start by cutting the sheets of chart paper into small card size sheets. All of us sat down together and worked in collaboration with each other to get that done. It was a monotonous task, but surprisingly, I was enjoying it. It was as if we were working in an assembly line doing specific tasks to accomplish a greater aim. Hail Henry Ford!
After that we segregated them into different sizes and started off with making cards. Although I had made greeting cards before I never made them on such large scale and with such strict deadline. Therefore it was quite an unfamiliar task for me, but as always I was ready to undertake it and learn all it had to teach.  I made 2 cards today. It was a difficult task since coming up with something new isn’t that easy. I tried to make them as appealing as possible but I seriously think my classmate Rucha’s cards were the best. Mrs. Deepshri said that since we got very less time in school due to our academics we must also make cards at home in order to complete our target in time. I thus, planned to make at least 2 more cards at home by this week.
